How did I get into Web Development?

I got hooked on web development my senior year in high school. I took a class on how to design and build static HTML websites using Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop. I don't think I ever looked forward to any other class the way I looked forward to web development class.

As much as I loved that class, I never even considered building a career in programming until a few years after high school. A friend told me his brother had built his own web development business, and I instantly knew that's what I wanted to do as well. So each day after work I started using free resources to learn the skills I needed. I started working for nothing or next to nothing on Elance and built up enough of a client base to eventually quit my day job and dive into full-time freelancing.

My Standards

I understand how much it means to my clients to have a trustworthy developer working with and accessing all the files and information on their web servers. There is no way around trusting each other when it comes to website development so the most important attribute I can offer is my integrity. I have had a great experience working with all of my clients in this area and have built a lot of great relationships over the years. I guarantee that I will work with diligence and integrity on each and every project I undertake.
